Fall Tree Splatter Painting

This is a simple painting project using a different kind of paint brush- a kitchen dish brush! The bristles of the brush work perfectly to make fall leaves on a tree.

It’s a simple craft. All you’ll need is:
  • round dish brush
  • washable kids’ paint
  • white sketch paper
  • tree template (optional)

I started by painting a simple tree trunk on a sheet of white sketch paper. You can also print out a template and have your little one paint the tree trunk. Once it had dried, my son dipped the brush into fall paint colors and pressed it on the paper to make leaves. And by pressed, I really mean banged. My three year old had a wonderful time painting with the dish brush! We moved this craft outside because I didn’t need paint all over the kitchen walls.
